About the Conference
The 2nd International Conference of Epidemiology and Public Health (ICOEPH) in 2026 carries the theme “Resilient Health Systems in a Turbulent World: Public Health for Equity, Preparedness, and Sustainable Development.” This conference is driven by the increasingly complex and uncertain global public health landscape, including the impacts of pandemics, climate change, geopolitical instability, and demographic transitions, all of which have exposed vulnerabilities in health systems and inequities in access to healthcare services. Therefore, the conference emphasizes the need to shift from reactive responses toward the development of resilient, adaptive, and transformative health systems that can ensure the continuity of healthcare services for all populations.
The conference aims to serve as a global scientific platform for exchanging strategic ideas to strengthen resilient health systems, examining current public health challenges, and formulating comprehensive preparedness strategies. It also promotes health policies that prioritize equity and inclusiveness, facilitates the dissemination of epidemiological research findings and public health innovations, and strengthens cross-sectoral and international collaboration. The expected benefits include expanding academic and professional networks, enhancing scientific contributions through publications in reputable journals, and improving participants’ knowledge and capacity to implement effective public health strategies.
The expected outcomes of the conference include the development of evidence-based policy recommendations compiled in an official policy document, the publication of scientific papers in international proceedings with an ISBN, and the selection of high-quality papers for publication in Scopus-indexed international journals and accredited national journals (SINTA). This conference is organized by the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro, as part of its academic contribution to strengthening sustainable health systems at the global level.
